Stopping a Train

I have a 1978 Bronco and the darn thing is out of control. I want to upgrade to dual piston calipers but can't use the stock ford off of a 3/4 ton because of the clearance. I'd need to upgrade to 16" rims but want to keep my 33" tires and all those goodies.

1: Can I grind down the dual piston calipers to fit inside of my 15" rims?

2: Is there some kind of brake booster i can add on?

or, and don't you guys hate me now but
3: Use Chevy dual piston calipers which will also get rid of those annoying clips and what would I have to swap on this conversion?

Any info about projects you've done and maybe an all around disc brake conversion.
