Get the juices flowin

I have found a relatively cheap Holley 650 Double pumper carb. and a Holley 4160 4bbl.
Has anyone put either one of these on their 351's and will they even fit and will they out perform the stock 2bbl. any info would be appreciated.
Also is there a place where I can get a 4bbl. intake manifold for my 1978 351m motor .

can't believe you haven't had a response before now...the 4160 with an Edelbrock Peformer intake is a nice combo, and the usual swap for this motor. You will see power/breathing gains with this, especially with a good set of headers (4 tube, 3" collector) to 2-1/4" pipes. mpg gains also.

Re: Get the juices flowin

I can't remember what CFM the 4160 is, so I can't comment on that. But I did run a holley 650 single pump vac secondarys (model 1850 I think) on a stout 69 351 W in a 71 Bronco. I tried a double pumper and felt that it was just too much fuel for most of my wheeling. I had a big cam, Rhodes lifters, roller rockers, Performer intake, headers, valve job and a little polishing.
