Help: Rearend

Any one out there know what the rearend is under a 1990 Bronco? (size 9" or 8.8" wheel base) And what other trucks have something that is the same size.

Re: Help: Rearend

>>>>8.8 is the answer. The 9er quit going in around 83-84 model years. Any 1/2 ton truck or Bronco since then and up to 96 got the 8.8. This was the only axle available until you could get the light duty 250 axle in the 97 and up F-150(think it is a 9.75). I don't know for sure if the 8.8 in the current F-150 is identical though. Hope this helps. Later.

Re: Help: Rearend

I just replaced the rear in my 88. According to the yard 87-96 Bronco's and F150's and 87-97 E150 vans all use the same 8.8 (mounting wise).
