OT> F350 concept truck

Anybody see it yet i couldn't get a picture cause it was on the noon news while i was at work. It had pneumatic suspension. When you opened any door the truck lowered about 6 inches for you to get in. it was called F350 Tonka edition. All tonka yellow big 20" tires up to 6 inches of lift at a touch of a button 4wheel drive and so on......... some day!

Re: OT> F350 concept truck

too much technology for a truck. truck = simple strongest design with the biggest tires u can find, and u gotta climb up in it. hehe, o, and heres a top 9 list for you guys.

The top 9 things you would NEVER hear a Redneck say, no matter how much they've had to drink, no matter how far from the South they've wandered and no matter how much the skunks are threatening:

1. Oh, I just couldn't. Hell, she's only sixteen.
2. I'll take Shakespeare for 1000, Alex.
3. Duct tape won't fix that.
4. Honey, I think we should sell the pickup and buy a family sedan.
5. Come to think of it, I'll have a Heineken.
6. We don't keep firearms in this house.
7. Too many deer heads detract from the decor.
8. The tires on that truck are too big.
9. Nope, no more for me. I'm drivin' tonight

Re: Ooooooooooooooohhhhh...

What till Larnach Vehicles unveils their HD in a few years from now You want a real truck that is priced with today's? Simple, lightweight, Powerstroke Deisel, or a choice of a 6 or 7 litre Chevy V8 with gas mileage to boot. 4500lbs and an 80" track, 70" height, 15" ground clearance, solid Ford 9 axle housings, coil sprung front and rear, bed space, washable interior, 37" tires that don't look too big, towing, GPS, etc. etc.

Re: Ooooooooooooooohhhhh...

How are you going to get 15" ground clearance with solid axles and 37" tires?

Re: Ooooooooooooooohhhhh...

What is it? The 6.0 diesel sounds nice, but "nissan" yellow and a body that looks copied from that Dodge concept truck thingy from a year or two back...Affordably priced under $75k no doubt. Gone is the Bronco, NOT.

Re: Ooooooooooooooohhhhh...

muddy

I was just dreaming But if you figure a total installed height of 36.5" leaves 18.25" of height to the axle center line and with a 10" housing, its more so about 13.25" to be safe. I was figuring wrong, oh well... maybe some day somebody will get it right.
