Re: OT - Popup Killer

some sites use popups legitimately to ask for info, i bet it kills those too. i find this sentence on their page a little hard to believe:
>>"Since early 1994, PopUp Killer has been the most advanced and featured popup killing machine"

I remember the internet in 94, it wasnt exactly the same. I dont even think it was possible for a web page to pop open a window until 97 or so. Banner ads were even rare back then... there werent enough users to make it worthwhile, not that it IS worthwhile NOW. It's like the damn telemarketers on the phone, a 5 in 1000 sales rate is GOOD.

a useful program nonetheless.

Re: OT - Popup Killer

I've been using it for about 2 years. They have updated it twice in that time. If is kills something you dont want it to, all you have to do is open it up and look at the list of "kills" then click it to exclude it in the future.

86 BigBronco, EFI 302, Aod tranny, TTB dana 44/ford 8.8 both 3.55 (till I get 4.56 in), General Graber 35's, Warn 8000lb Winch, dual batteries, 2X6 rear bumper with built-in hitch
