found an old rail thingy heh

k first... how much would it cost? it has no engine (although they have a vw bus next to it with the front open... looks like they couldnt find the engine LOL) tires are bald... i dont think the front has suspension... i think all the rest is there.

how hard would it be to put vw engine in there? i think i need to take a better loook at it, it looks really SWB. but its a 2 seater... thx

was it an all tube frame? vw engines are strange, you can spend $500 on one or you can spend $5000, just depends on weighter or not you get bit by the "bug". your discripion of what it looks like is a little vague, do you have a pic? does the engine go in the rear? does it have a transaxle already in it? or is that missing too? there are a few different engines you can run in it, but vw type 1 or type 3 are the most common. BTW a bus and a beetle take different engines, the are similar but not the same.
