Question What size exhaust pipe should I use?

I have an '88 Ramcharger (Federal) and just had the motor rebuilt. It's a 360 bored .030 over with an Edelbrock Performer intake, Demon 625 cfm carb, and Dynomax headers. I found a Hooker compitition header-back exhaust system kit, but the pipes are only 2.25''.This seems a bit small. I was originally thinking of 3'' pipe but a friend suggested 2.5'' pipe. I don't have clue what would work best, and welcome all sugestions. Thanks.

2.25" is plenty, the engine won't make much torque with more diameter than that.
