Stock compression of a \'83 318?

Had a leaking head gasket and I see that Mopar Performance has a head gasket with a .024-.028 compression thickness. Felpro is .039. The M.P. gasket seems like an easy way to boost compression since I have to replace anyways. I just don't want to go to far. Anyone know the stock compression and how much the M.P. gasket would raise it? Motor has Edelbrock performer intake and cam, stock exhaust for now. Thanks.
