Balanced Highway / light offroad tire?

Hi, this is my first post here.
I just bought a 1992 4WD V6 Dodge Dakota.
I plan to mostly drive onroad, but I also want the capability to do some offroad driving. I think ill start off by upgrading the tires (which are stock P235/75R15s.)
I want a tire that is more aggresive then the stock tire, but one that wont be to uncomfortable or dangerous for highway/city driving. Id like to keep the tires around the same size and definitly use the same rims. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Sorry if im not to specific, I dont know that much about tires.

Re: Balanced Highway / light offroad tire?

I have 30" Bridgestone Dueler A/T tires. They work great as an all around tire. The tread is pretty thick on them, and they seem to wear pretty evenly. Check out tirerack.com they allow you to compare tires and view people' opions on them as well.
