Dodge Ram 50

I am wanting a suspension lift kit for my 89 Dodge Ram 50 but they never made one for it. I've been told that you can make your own suspension lift. That is all I have been told but I would really like to know how to lift it. Is there any advice on making this? Also how high will I have to lift it for 35's to fit under it?

Is it solid axle or IFS? 4x4 or two wheel drive? Give some more info about the truck.

Re: Dodge Ram 50

It's a 4x4, it's the stock axle, and I'm not too sure what the Mitusubishi truck was. I've looked all over for suspension lifts but the best that I can find is a 3 in. body lift and I don't think that is big enough to put 35's under the truck, it could be but I don't think it is enough.

Re: Dodge Ram 50

Even if it was, chances are the factory axles wouldnt hold up very long with that size tire. Sounds like you need more of a 33 inch tire.
