I have seen adjustable inline gears that allow you to do this. I believe it was in summit racing...
The cable comes out of the tranny, into the adjuster box. It then goes to the speedo. You just have to get it dialed in so the speedo reads right.
I just remember thinking that it was expensive. Best bet is to just get it close. Replace the speedo gear in the tranny, get the one that puts your speedo as close as possible to factory. I think the gears are around $15-20.
