clunking noise

I just put a 5 inch Tuff country lift on my truck last month. Yesterday was the first time I used 4 wheel drive and I noticed a cluncking noise only in 4x4 (just when under a load). The front drive shaft has a sharp angle out of the transfer case. Could that be the clunking? The U-joints feel ok. I cant feel any play in them. They are still origional (97 with 67,000 miles on them). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,
Paul

Re: clunking noise

Jeeze, thanks for all the input guys. I figured it out. It was the both lt and rt axle u-joints shot.

Re: clunking noise

So it had nothing to do with the installation of the lift? Just coincidence?
