15\"vs16\"

i have an 05 dakota w/265/70/r16 i also have a set of ultra solid aluminum wheels 15x10 these are the new to dakota 5x5.5 or 5 x139.7 bolt pattern. i want to mount 33x12.5 onthe 15s for spring and summer sand duning and run the stocks fall and winter. is there enough clearence for the brake calipers with the 15s how about 15.5 or should i stsrt looking for a new set of 16s wide dnough for what i want?

mount the 15" wheels, and see if they clear, if so, youre golden. however i would highly advise against going smaller wheels than stock for running the larger tires. but if it works and its free of cheap, go for it. youll probably never run into any problems but theres always that chance since your messing with the oem standards. you may lose a small bit acceleration and power since youll be running more rubber and less wheel.
