Your truck did not come stock with a 4" lift. See my response to your other post for that.

I have read that 33s will fit the stock rams, with possible rubbing on the lower control arms or back of the front fenders, near the door. I think 35's would exacerbate these problems. Either a lift or some fender trimming is going to be required to get 35s under it and still be able to turn/have suspension movement.

On that year Ram, 35s will fit with just a front leveling kit. I know this becuase I have installed two such kits and both worked just fine. Trucks looked great. We ran a Daystar leveling kit, BDS shocks, 315x75R16s and 16x8s

Re: poly or steel daystar leveling kit?

Couldnt tell ya, never installed a metal kit. I know the poly kit will almost always ride better, as well as prolly cost less. Never seen any reason to doubt the durability of the poly.

Re: poly or steel daystar leveling kit?

just finished an install of a 3"spacer kit from topguns customz found it on ebay great quality but no directions, this is on a 96 2500 and it dropped the axle so much it seemed to pull it back and now the tires seem to rub as bad as stock though it sits much higher.... i think with some longer control arms to center tire in wheel well i will have plenty of room.... it looks like to me a 2 inch would have been better as strange as that may sound oh and im running 35" claws with 3/4 tread and 15x10 rock crawler rims

thanks soggysod

oh and if anyone knows a good place for longer control arms let me know

Re: poly or steel daystar leveling kit?

My tires on my 95 2500 is a little bigger than 35's, they are skidder tires, huge flotation type measuring almost 60" tall by 30" wide. I used 12" leaf springs all around with 5 ton rockwells...

Re: poly or steel daystar leveling kit?

You dont need longer control arms, you need the 2 inch kit. That is why most leveling kits are 2 inches, becuase anythign higher without control arms pulls the axle back.
