Vacuum Disconnect

What is the cheapest fix or replacement for the vacuum disconnect on my dana 44 in my 86 dodge

Whats wrong with yours? You could swap in a pre 84 dana 44 with manual hubs I think? No cads until 85 & up I believe...

It doesnt stay engaged. I have checked the diaphragm for leaks and I ran the vacuum hose directly off the engine .

throw a set of WARN hubs on and lock the CAD engaged all the time and your are done / to lock the CAD pull it off and what I do is use a small hose clamp on the shaft to hold it locked / its tough to do but well worth it / then plug all the vacuum lines at the motor for the CAD [img]images/graemlins/burnout.gif[/img]

I have already installe warn hubs. I will do as you say and be done with it
