?Power Chip?

Is a powerchip worth purchasing for a 4.7 liter V8 engine.Would listen to all considerations before deciding to do it.I have the Airraid Intake and Poweraid Throttle Bore installed and I'm pretty satisfied with the performance. Re: ?Power Chip?

If it isn't a custom burnt chip, it's value is pretty dubious. Jet and Hypertech's stuff usually requires you to run high octane gas and the gains are all small, and only in the high rpms. So you pay more for gas and only see the rather small power gains if you manage to get the engine up past 3,000rpm. All this for several hundred dollars.

A custom burnt chip that takes into affect your vehicle, the modifications to it, how you drive, what octane you want to run, etc is much better.
