Sway Bar

I just lifted my 99 Dodge Ram 4x2. I was told that in order to lift the truck 6" i would need to remove my stock sway bar because it would hit the spindles. I was wondering if doing this was dangerous or if i shouldn't worry. also if anyone new of someone that could make a custom sway bar to fit??

Re: Sway Bar

i would call the company about it, but you can order longer sway bar end mounts from skyjacker...
my lift (5"on a 3/4 4x4) had just a approx.3" spacer made of a piece of channel that made it go down from the sway bar frame mounts.
