383 & Retaining 4WD

Hi Guys,

I have an '85 R/C, and would like to change from a 318 to a 383, and keep 4wd, using auto tranny. I know that I have to get a 727 with a b/b bell housing.
But what about mating it with an np208 transfer case? Are there any overdrive tranny's that would work with this situation, and does anybody in Michigan have a 383. Tom, if you're reading this, I managed to lose your email address, I know you had one, and I was wondering if you still do? My email address is [email protected] or [email protected].

Thanks guys.....Bob Conley

Re: 383 & Retaining 4WD

save yourself some trouble and get a 360. it has a longer stroke than a 383 and all your parts will fit.the 360 will outperform
the 383 if you build it right.call me if you want more info.I also have all the parts you could ever want and would be glad
to sell you a 383 if you chose not to believe what I have told you...///GT,301-933-5277
