82 Dodge W350
I just purchased an old 1982 Dodge W350 which has a Dana 44 Front and a NP208 transfer case. According to owners manual it says W350's should have a Dana 60 front diff and a NP205 case with light duty 250's and 150's having the NP208's. and Dana 44's. GVWR on this vehicle is about 8,600 lbs although I forget the split front to back.
Can anyone shed a little light on this? Was the front diff and case swapped out at some point or
Re: 82 Dodge W350
What you have is factory. You had to specify the 60 front and 205 case to get it. I have a 82 W350 truck for parts that is the same way. But my 83 W350 was ordered with the Dana 60 and 205.
