1977 DODGE M880?

Saw this ad and was wondering what kind of equipment its gonna have or at least supposed to. A TF727 no doubt and hopefully a Np205 but probably a NP203 and drive hubs on a 8 lug Dana 44 and a Dana 60 rear. This rig going to be any good, it has almost zero miles for being a 77. Anyone really interested in this rig, because Im looking for something slightly newer but I am curious none the less. Its in southern NJ about 2+ hours from me so I cant easily go look at it.

If it's a one ton it should be D60/D60, but I could be wrong. Still a bit fuzzy on MOPARs.

Re: 1977 DODGE M880?

I bought an M-883 1977 Dodge[47,000 miles] this summer. It is a 1 1/4 ton truck. It has a 727 trans,D-60 in the rear and a D-44 up front. My National Guard truck was redone to take to high schools I think[I found receipts that total $10,000 spent in 3 months, then it was parked].It came with the entire drive train in the bed and came with a new crate 300hp 318,headers,alum intake,K&N filter ect, trans go 727,5" lift,32x12.50 tires, custom seat out of a F-350 and all kinds of stuff. It gets 14 mpg on the road and I like it.I just installed power steering and a 140 amp alternator.I am looking to build a bumper for it so I can install my winch.I also am looking for a locker for the rear if anyone has one.Best Regards,RR

The 880 should have an 8 lug dana 44 front with the semi-floating hubs. Not a very strong bearing design.
