1998 Ram 1500 Drum Brakes

I am trying o remove the brake drums from my 1998 dodge ram. I understand that I may need to release the brakes by turning a star adjustment. I am not able to find a plug on the back of the drum. There is what apears to be a metal plug toward the top back side but am not able to remove. Is this the plug or is it some plave else?

I may be telling you the obvious, but did you release the emergency brake?

Even sometimes it still won't come off because its stuck to the axle via surface rust. Spray some penitrating fluid around the lugs and the hub and after a while hit it with a big hammer to free it.
