Dana 60's in the newer rams 94+ are stamped 60f and 60 for the rear, the dana 70 rears are noticablely different in one way, there is a 1/2 more steel below the cover of the housing and the 60 obviously is flush to the cover at the bottom. The 70 is usually in the v-10 and diesel 2500 trucks and dana 80 in the 3500. They are stamped on the webbing or you can find the builder identifaction code, my code on a 95 2500 dana 60 is: 610518-2-55 and has a housing # 44980, the first one can be brought down to a dana distributer and he can tell you all about it and even you gear ratio thats if it hasn't been changed...
