Duel Batteries

Has anybody installed duel batteries in their dodge yet? How hard was it? What (in you own opinion) is the best method. Are there any surprises I should be aware of? I went to the dodge dealership the other day and I think that I am going to purchase the factory battery tray and install it like on the diesal. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.

Re: Duel Batteries

I did it in my 95 2500, the tray was around $28 and I just ran a 4 gauge power wire from the factory battery to the extra one in parrell and the ground to the chassis. You could use a dual battery isolator to keep the aux battery from dieing when the key is turned back for the stereo if its hooked up to the aux only...
