Just recently my ABS and parking brakes lights come on when I hit 45 mph. I talked to a dealership and they said its prob some rear wheel sensor or something like that. He said it costa about $37 and $100 labor. I might buy the sensor from them but don't want them to install it. I have no idea where it is located on my truck. Can anyone tell me how to replace it and where it is located on my truck. Thanks
howdy / its mounted on the rear end on top / take out a 10mm bolt and unplug it / BUT I would find somebody with a ABS scanner to check it first to make sure thats what is wrong / no need to replace parts you dont hafta / later and MOPAR TO YA //////////////////// DEANO
My 98 1500 Q-cab 4x4 did that exact same thing at about 3000 miles. Thats what the dealer did...replacethe RWAL sensor...under warranty of course. Also, my speedometer became inop below 15mph as a result. Soon as they fixed the sensor, the speedo began to work properly again too!
