44\"dick cepic fun country tires/ put on tuesday?

I will see if they fit good tomorrow, they are huge with great tread left, not bad for $300 for 4 when each tire is $349 and they are mounted on chrome wagon wheels. They have some dry rot on them but they hold air. I'll see if my steering can hold these monsters from going crazy (wobble).

Re: 44\"dick cepic fun country tires/ put on tuesday?

Wow, they are huge and they fit with no rubbing until a little articulation but not bad. They ride quiet and smooth but my loose steering caused a wobble around 35 mph so I took them back off and put on the 38's instead. I took a couple pics and will have my wife post them soon, i'm computer dumb. These tires are 44/18.5/16.5, an all terrain tire rather than a mud tire and are like a bubble the way they bow out on the sides. Now if I could find a set of 48's :-)...

Lots of clay muck in which might of been when I got stuck real good but the fog is from driving into a pond and the water evaporating into a cloud. Sure made for an awesome picture...

wow, those thing really do look like balloons on there! what is the purpose of a 44" all terrain, anyway? just driving on the beach? interco is coming out with a 44x21 all terrain, somebody must be using them for something.

I went to their web site and couldn't find any info on a new 44's, do you have a link to the info? A smoother riding swamper would be good. Now if I could only find like a 48" to really tower over obstacles... I did see a set of 48's on an old blazer or bronco.

oh man, you will LIKE these puppies! i wouldnt call them an all terrain really, if you can imagine the pattern at 44x21 then it will be pretty open and with some throttle they will clean out. not a TSL but better than a cepek or baja belted.

the tire is actually a trXus STS, so it's under the trXus link.

oh yeah, one more thing. how bout a 50x15 with 1" tread depth?

Michelin XML

You'd have to get ahold of some 20" rims (new dodge wheels might work) but those should be some huge tough tires with traction all day long. They are limited to convoy speeds though, not sure if that matters or not.
