DX400 WHAT IS IT ???!! anyone... anyone?

I just aquired a total unknown. Engine is stamped DX400A, Made in Japan,
Frame is also stamped DX400A, single cylinder, 2 stroke, Air cooled, electronic ignition, dual shocker w/ gas reseviors. Mikuni carb, Aluminum swingarm,Luxurious front forks, drum brakes all around, Magnesium engine covers. Cylinder stamped 392cc. plastic puke green tank. Kaw?
thought it might be an old Yammie IT, could be a frankencycle too! nothing shows on the net on a dx400.
What the hell is it!!!

Wink Methinks it's a Kawasaki KDX400A

The KDX400A bike was produced by Kawasaki from 1978 through 1980
Attached are pics of the 78 and 80 models, (can't find anything on the 79 )

I have one of these also. It dosent run yet, but i'm working on it. It says DX400 in the engine by the kickstarter assembly. It has a rear monoshock, so its not a kdx400. I cant figure out what it is.
