Re: hey \"the_kid\"

now that it is jetted it runs 10000000x better, so much more low end. still blurbles below 3500 but thats 600's for ya. i guess that why it redlines a 15.5 ahahahahaha wheelies woo hoo. it is so cold i have to put my hand on the exhaust at stop lights.

Re: hey \"the_kid\"

actually the can does not get that hot, you can touch it in the summer after riding two hours and no prob, with bare skin, i wouldn't recommend it too long. but i have gloves on and i touch the exhaust gases not the can.

Re: hey \"the_kid\"

Used to do the same with an old yamaha 650 I had, and later with a Honda 700S, the engines weren't covered so I could reach down and touch the cylinder/head with my gloves and keep my hands warm. Had a throttle lock so I could do both hands. That was back when that was all I had for transportation and would ride from Ft. Riley, KS to Waterloo, Ia on a friday night to get there Sat morning, then leave as late as possible Sun night to get back Monday morning. Ahh.......to be young again.

When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse out of the corner of my eye.
