do 2 smokes?????

have rev limiters? what would my cr do if the timing was off? think this because on my bike if i real quick shift it wont blubber and i think it is on the rev limiter(if it has one?

I just posted somethin about that in the other post, that's the first thing that came to mind, it will hit a point, the same point, in every gear, and just kick back the RPM's at a very high rate, makin it sorta bog, people usually use them on two strokes that are raced in the woods, leave them off for mx because you want wide open...get it?

Alot of 2 strokes HAVE rev limiters... its just so high you'd never "hit" it....

all two strokes have rev-limiters

when the revs keep going up it will stop, dead. that my friends is your rev limiter. ha ha

Ya its also called piston rings [img]/wwwthreads_images/icons/laugh.gif[/img]

but for real, the ignition will only fire to a certain rpm, then no more advance. It's like do you think the ign will fire to 30,000 rpm?

them little nitro cars rev to like 20,000, that's great...you imgine if a mclaren or somethin revved to 20,000 rpm's!?

thay would suck, you would have to rev it to like 12,000 before it would make power. like a 125. i would rather have it rev to like 6.5 - 7. and balls off idle.
