Re: aaaaaaahhhhhhhh god damnit!!!!!!!!!

When you cleaned the air filter did you squeeze out all the excess oil? I've seen guys clean their foam filters but left too much oil in the foam, restricting air flow and richening the mixture drastically. Also, you had the power valves out, are you sure they are adjusted correctly? You could try turning off your gas and see if it starts running better just before it quits (this could be hard on the piston if you do it much). Have you asked previous owner if he has any ideas? Hope you get it fixed. Ed.

Re: aaaaaaahhhhhhhh god damnit!!!!!!!!!

all 2 strokes do that if you have the throttle in one spot, it only wont do it if your on the gas and shifting through the gears. Just buy a yz400f like it did, it kicks some major ass

Re: aaaaaaahhhhhhhh god damnit!!!!!!!!!

Breaking up at high rpm means not enough fuel....too lean. Go richer on the main jet.

Re: aaaaaaahhhhhhhh god damnit!!!!!!!!!

IF YOU WENT FROM A 178 TO A 165 YOU HAVE PUT A SMALLER JET IN. THIS IS LEANER. YOU NEED TO GO TO A LARGER JET LIKE A 185. DID IT DO THIS WHEN YOU BOUGHT THE BIKE??
