wheelsmith maico

Hello, I was wondering if there are any checks that I can do to tell if my new maico that i just bought is a wheelsmith or not? It is supposed to be wheelsmith but I don't know how to tell. What are some things to look for so i can figure if it is wheelsmith or just a regular maico? any help would be greatly appreciated.

THANKS

Re: wheelsmith maico

What year Maico is it?
Where did you buy it from?
What color is it?

I have some cool Wheelsmith stickers that might look OK on the numberplates??

Re: wheelsmith maico

It's a 1974 440. The frame is white, but it has been painted that way. It has the aluminum tank. It has the wheelsmith brake pedal, foot peg mounts, and the guy I got it from said that the swingarm was trick and that the shocks were forward mounted. The shocks are works performance, but the way they are mounted are just like the other maicos i've got. It also has a circle F pipe. I thought it should have a wheelsmith pipe if indeed it is a wheelsmith, but I just don't know how to tell for sure.
Thanks
Aaron
