ok not this sh!t again!~!!!

i cleaned my air filter and air box today and also after seeing how dirty both were cleaned the carb. i could see clealy through the jets. now my bike is running weard. at certain throttle positions like under 1/2 throttle it has like a nock coming from the topend! but not when its really reving. im thinking the jets are slitly blocked or the neadle is loose (it was when i had the slide out) or the gas is stale. what does an octain nock sound like? oooo yea when i get this straightened out im selling it.....

I think you'd have to really jam the slide in to make it fit backwards, doesn't it have a notch along one side? If it fits in easily backwards then maybe the pin in the carb body for that notch is missing/bad but doubt it.

That pin you are talking about would have to be the idle screw so I highly doubt it that it could go in backwards.

No I'm talking about the small pin pressed into the side of the carb body that holds the slide from turning.

Re: ok not this sh!t again!~!!!

If you put it in 180 degrees off (backwards) the throttle is about 3/4 open already, so yes, it goes in backwards, and you experience stuck throttle.
