2002 CR 250

Has anyone heard anything good/bad about the new CR 250?
I'm thinking about buying one this week.

ya the new honda's kick some A$$, but i sure wouldn't want one around in 10 or so years when the aluminum starts fatiguing

Re: 2002 CR 250

I'm not so sure about the aluminum fatigue, my brother flies a 1942 or so Boeing C47 airplane, made completely out of aluminum, it's still in great shape. Maybe they used a much diff alloy but I doubt it.
We'll see how good RC does next year on a Honda- pretty good I'll bet.

Re: 2002 CR 250

No barrell rolls, no inverted flight, no triples, no whoops in the C47 (military version of DC3) but on takeoff and in rough weather the wings flex/move A LOT. I'd say there might be more stress in an aluminum plane with 2 1200 hp engines flying at 200 mph through thunderstorms than a 220# bike flying 40' through the air. Maybe not.....
