2 Stroke engine oil

I reciently welded a gear to the drive shaft in the tranny of my 98KX250. I was reving it out trying to climb a hill when I did it. I am running 10-30 just like the manual suggests. I ask the shop mechanic and he mentioned ATF, or Honda 85 Wt oil. Any recommendations? There is a Yamaha shop close, does Yamalube have a good product?
