Re: handle bars

IF YOUR BARS ARE STRAITER AND LONGER THIS WOULD GIVE YOU MORE control yes. but supension and wheel alignment will also help.

When in doubt, GAS IT

Re: handle bars

What kind of bike do you have?
How is the suspension set up?
When was the last time the forks were serviced?
How much pressure is in the front tire?
Why are you bars "short"??

Re: handle bars

YZ'S RIGHT. IF THE BARS ARE SHORT/SHORTER YOU WILL LOSE INPUT LEVERAGE WHILE STEERING. OVERALL THOUGH IF YOUR HEAD IS SHAKING AKA-HEADSHAKE YOU NEED TO ADDRESS THE SUSPENSION AS THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO CURE THE HEADACHE

Re: handle bars

In addition to what you mentioned, would a steering damper work to take care of this problem? I don't have one, but have been thinking about putting one on in the future.
