2. Should this bike lift when throttled in 2nd, 3rd + 4th gear, seen other 250 go like the wind mine seems to go like something else!
note : Other bike I seen was a lot louder than mine has he made mods to engine exhaust etc. My bike is english road legal poss with baffels still in exhaust ect ect would this make any difference please help total novice.

Hey fill out your profile!!

for your questions.....
1. If you want to stiffen the rear suspension you NEED a stiffer spring, But why do you want it stiffer? does it bottom when you ride it? are you overly fat?

2. Your bike can wheelie in 2nd 3rd and 4th... it's a matter of rider ability

note: I bet those other bikes are 2-strokes while yours is a 4-stroke. OR those are motocross bikes and a XR250 is more of a off road/play bike.....

SO... about removing the exhaust baffles, it will not make a huge power diffrence without doing other internal engine modifications WHICH will reduce the reliablity of a reliable bike... BUT it will make more power while making ALOT more NOISE.......
anymore questions???
