can this effect starting?

can turning the idel up effect starting my 1990 xr200? if it dosnt will my bike if the idle is nice keep going with no throttle?

No, turning it up will not affect the starting, the idle screw raises and lowers the throttle valve, which makes the needle go in farther if the idle is low, pulls it out more if the throttle is...see what im sayin, turnin it up is like twisting the throttle just a tad bit, but more like cruz control, it always stays in that position.
