which bike to buy?

Hello, Well I sold my quad and now looking to buy a 125. I am currently looking at a 1995 Cr125, a 1994 kx125, and a 1996 Rm125, mostly be used for mx, light trail, not looking to compete but just have fun. All three bikes are in good condition, about the same price +/- $150. I just cant find any comparison test. Anyone help? which is the better bike overall? Thanks

Re: which bike to buy?

If you can afford it, I would go for a little bit newer CR125. 1998's and up are very very good bikes. One of my friends has had his 1999 since new and all he hasn't had any major problems. In the winter of 2001 he put in a new piston, but that is manditory (sp?) after 3 years of racing.

For the best runner pick up the cr , it has the fastest and most reliable motor of that bunch. But if you wanted the best handling bike, the kx and rm are better. The rm has a great fork for offroad riding.

I'd vote for the Honda too--they have the best reputation for reliability and hold their resale value much better.
