Can Am

What would you guys say a 1986 250 Can-Am dirtbike that needs a spring in the clutch is worth? are parts easy to find for these bikes? thanx

Can Am's were THE bike to have in the mid to late seventies. What powerhouses, but they couldn't keep up to the Japanese technology. There was an 250MX at one of the bike shops here for $1300 CDN.

Parts might be tough but there's web resources you can use. Seems to me there's a shop in Quebec thats selling new and used parts for Can Am.

500 to 800 bucks, if it's in nice shape. The steven's cycle facility out side of baycity michigan still offered can am parts long after they where discontinued. They might still offer part's, but I'm not sure though. Not sure if your in the us or canada, so you might want to find the number of the place chubb said.
