Cracked crank case

I have a crank case that has a hair line crack in it near one of the bolts. This case is from an 1986 Yam XT 600. The case has magnesium in it so welding is not an option. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this? It is leaking oil all over the place.

Re: Cracked crank case

My tt600 did the same thing. They can be welded by professianls, but you may have to remove the case. Mine was caused by the poor ol girl vibrating the Jug bolts loose.
