1987 husky spark problems,, need some help here

i got a 1987 huksy250cr and im trying to sell it to get a 03 cr250 but the dam thing isnt getting any spark, heres what happend while i was riding every once in awhile the bike would shut off and start rite back up again then it went to if you shut it off it would take forever to start last time i was out riding i shut it off and it hasnt started since , i used a multimeter and from the the magneto in getting like 300v? also from the cdi im getting around 300+ or - v but im not getting any spark or anything from the coil , im guessing its the coil but im not sure how much power the magneto is supposed to be puttin out it might just not be putting out enough power im not sure i check the spark plug wire also and current it going through it i tested it with the ohm meter any help or advice would help alot thnx, also where can i get parts for this bike??

I'd say start with the basics......

Check ALL the wire connections and disconect the kill switch.
Clean the mag with some electrical contact cleaner...
Make sure the plug wire is making contact with the plug..
Put some more air in the tires....

put more air in the tires, hahahah! He said what i would say, def check all the wires, check all the fuses, check to see if ur air filter is clean.

Fuse's....FUSES...... what fawkin fuses??

Anyone else just crack up at the moive "Breaking Away" when the guys dad who is a car salesman has a heatattack and he wake's up yellin "REFUND....REFUND..." or is it just me?

if he has the whole light set up isn't he gonna have fuses? Im on my old fourwheelers i was not getting any spark and it turned out to be a bad fuse...yes fuses...maybe that doesn't have fuses?
