ignition moduals
This is for the real tech heads. I'm modifing my XR650L for more power. I've got all the upgrades that go into a XR600. There are different part no's for the ignition pick-up between the two models. Everything else in the ignition including the main box is identical. My question is whether the XR600 pick-up has a more beneficial ignition program than the XR650L's. I assume that the 650L's may have a program that is more enviro friendly and probably has the dip at around 4000 rpm to keep things quiet and clean. If I am wrong please tell me so. PS, I've tried dealers and others to get info, but none have been helpfull. If anyone has a number to contact Honda Racing, that might get me my answeres. Thanks mreen.

Re: ignition moduals
i would imagine the the xr has a more aggressive timing curve, and would say yes if there are diff part #'s.

Re: ignition moduals
Probably the best place to get the info would be SRC or Al Bakers XR's Only.
