rode the 350

well i had the bike out this weekend and have it fully broken in now. some probs though. it ides funny and fluctuates rpms. so i am talking apart the carbs and cleaning/rebuilding along with going up one on each main(2 carbs). also the clucth cover leaks like a siv(sp?) taking off cover tonight and going to yammibond it instead of using a gasket. other than that this is my review. it is vey smooth and has very usable power. the suspension is VERY SOFT. i was still jumping stough and riding wheelies. i need to clean the cables also as their is alot of effort needed to twist the wrist so it looses its "snapiness". i think it will be fun ripping around showing people on their newer bikes how to ride. i was getting it opened up and it would sort of bog and pop occasionally. i think it is lean that is why i am going up on mains. also i think the slides are sticking causing the funny idleing. and pssibly some semi blocked jets causing the popping. also need to readjust the valves. it the trails it rips though. so much more comfy. i also noticed the front slides out all over the place. i am getting a new tire to help with this. i wrecked it friday riding on paved road in the woods that was mossy, it was like ice. all of a sudden i was sideways on my way down and slid 20 feet. no damage. also have to check the lights. i blew the rear light so i want to check the voltage on the lines so i dont blow the again. pretty quick. can def feel the diff in weight. especially comin off a burm and trying to roost out or just switching lines. totally diff riding style but i am getting used to it. my bud says to me "Damn John, I didn't know a xr350 could do that!" start taking notes ladies. hahaha. i will try to get some pics this week
