91 Cr 500
 

Just got my hands on a 91 Cr500, and I am in the midst of reringing it before taking it out this spring. It has a FMF Gold Fatty pipe, and a power core II silencer, Boyesen reeds last summer, as well as new crank bearings. Does anyone have any experience with this particular bike, and is there any thing I should be on the lookout for, that these bikes are notorious for, as far as things that are weak, or prone to being troublesome. Spring is coming in a couple of months so I have plenty of time to do it right now, before the itch gets to strong. My last bike was an 87 RM 250, the Cr should prove to be quite a fright........anyone want to take out an insurance policy on me???LOL

Check the kickstarter for slopp and for cracking where it hits the foot peg..... better yet, just buy a new one
