Powder Riding

Anyone had their bikes out in the snow. I went out for a ride with a foot of fresh powder. It was pretty cool except I was out of control the whole time! The back end was fishtailing the whole way. I notice after bombing across a field and when I got onto the road it was running ****ty? It wanted to die out and wouldn’t kept the rev's up. Since it was going to be a bitch to push it home, I tried to limp home and it got worse and was barley running but I made it back. By the end it was smoking so bad I though I blew it up. Got home and I took off the lip for the air box and it was packed tight with snow. U couldn't even see the air filter! After I clean the snow out and filter good old Honda fired up first kick. Man these Honda bikes are stronger. This engine got about 8000 miles. With the last 4000 being high rev's playing in the mud and swapping it. It still hasn't let me down. Anyone playing in the snow?

Re: Powder Riding

It's a four stroker, probably isn't scuffed.

Re: Powder Riding

2-strokes scuff pistons when they eat any amount of water, and you keep then running
