Did it

Ok, it took me like 3hrs, but I got the bark busters/brushguards mounted. Drilled the holes in the aluminum barkbusters for the brushguards, sawed off the end of my throttle so it wouldn't hang up on the guard, had to saw off the end of the clutch lever, took me a while to figure how the little rubber pieces of heater hose were supposed to work with my stock steel bars. I saved the metal spacers for when I get aluminum bars, I thought the rubber was supposed to go over the spacers. Not so! It was kind of cool using a hack saw to cut pieces off my brand new $6000 toy

Re: Did it

What are you going to use for brush guards? I read a post somewhere about using plastic you buy at a Chev dealer and it gave the part number. I'll see if I can find it.

Re: Did it

Chubby, I already mounted a set of MSRs' onto the aluminum barkbusters. They're plastic. Maybe my terminology was wrong, I'm calling the aluminum handguards, "barkbusters", and the plastic pieces I bolted on to them, "brushguards". Both were MSR parts. I'd like to hear what your thinking, thanks.
