Dirt bikes

What a pack of losers, not one reply do you only give opinions to yanks ?
So, so you think you can tell, heaven from hell, blue skies from pain
can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail; a smile from a veil, do you think you can tell,
And did they get you to trade, your heroes fror ghosts , hot ashes for trees,.
Hot air for a cool breeze, Cold comfort for change,
And did they exchange a walk on part in the war, for a lead roll in a cage.
How I wish , how I wish you were here
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl,
year after year, running over the same old ground , what have we found,
the same old fears, Wish you were here.
"Pink Floyd " the best band in the
world.
Alf.
PS if you no like this,......tough ****e. Bon Anee.

Re: Dirt bikes

Dude, I'm with you completely on the music thing. I checked the board last night before I went to bed and didn't see your posts. Ya gotta be patient on this board. Sometimes it's kind of slow, and is some cases has absolutely nothing at all to do with motorcycles. It's more like a bunch of guys that know each other...sort of...that bs about different stuff, including motorcycles. My take anyway. I didn't know Kawasaki is making an electric start KLX 250, they aren't for sale on this part of the planet. I ride a KLX 300 which is not equiped with an electric start, and doesn't come that way from the factory. Is the one your looking at an older one with an after market (stroker) kit put on it? Anyway, I like mine, but I'm getting ready to get a DRZ E as soon as the local shop gets some in for 02. I could have picked up an 01 for $500 off but while I was at the shop, some other guy came in, (I think squid will work here), they started it up for him (he was pressing like mad on the kill switch and saying "nothing is happening"), that was pretty comical to watch, and he rode it in the parking lot and tried to wheelie it. The engine wasn't even properly warmed yet. No telling how many times that may have happened. I'll pay the extra and have piece of mind. Well, anyway welcome to the board.

When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse out of the corner of my eye.

Re: Dirt bikes

Hey, Alfie, if you don't like this board, you could always just cry about it. I don't know if it would help, but try it and see what works.

Re: Dirt bikes

Thanks guys, just wanted to see if I was screaming in silence.
NZ is in spring, a mixed bag just now. Summer starts for real in Jan Feb Mch.
Hey Josh, I'm crying too much to answer you just now........
But hey any reaction is a bonus. Proves we're all still alive,
and not in the fletcher memorial home for incurable dirt riders.
Keep smilin'
Alf.
PS the KLX 250 is offered down here with E start, DOHC, water cooled and can easily be bored out to 300 cc.

Re: Dirt bikes

i personally hate E start..batterys going dead when you dont want them to, so many wires and electrical components to go bad and i have had all the fun electriacl problems on my E start machines...id rather kick that have to bump start at inconvnient times
