class rules.

Ok, I know I can just order one, but before the wife will let me I have to answer two questions?
one what class is the stock bugs? (for her...:O)
and what class is the stock 4x4 short wheel base? (for me...;O)
and second is there a web site that has the class rules posted for her and me to read before we by the official rules and regs.
Thanks again,
Adam and Mary C.

Re: class rules.

Hey,

Stock VW sedans are classified as class 11.
Short wheelbase 4x4's (blazers, broncos, KIA!) are classified as class 3.
Note these designations are for SCORE. Other sanctioning bodies might have a different number!

As far as the web site, I can't think of one that has the new rulebook. SCORE used to post the book until they realized they could start making money on them, so they pulled it...

Re: class rules.

Do you guys think there is anyway i could race my 2wd 4cylinder Nissan hardbody. It has fabtech a-arms and other add ons which give it more travel. Other than the lift what would i need to race ie. roll cage, parts, no glass?, fiberglass body. Any info would be great.

Re: class rules.

You'd also need a Fuel Cell, Window Nets, Excellent shocks, Race Radio (2meter) etc.

Your goal is definately not out of the question. A very stock Ford Expedition did well in a few of the BOTD races last year.

Re: class rules.

I don't know which sanctioning body has it but isn't there a pre-runner class?
