Baja 2000

Has anybody got course notes & milage for the SCORE Baja 2000 yet? I'm trying to plan ahead but SCORE hasn't posted them yet.

And, don't forget that Mexican insurance isn't any good if there is a leinholder on your vehicle and you don't have a letter from them giving you permission to have the vehicle in Mexico.

George.

Re: Baja 2000

Sal is STILL down in Mexico running the course. So it's not even final yet. Few more days, I would suppose...

And as far as that second statement.... WHAT?!?!?!?!?!? This I did not know. I'll have to see if this truly applies to me. My lienholder is a military credit union (I'm the brat, my dad did the time). Easy enough to check I would suppose.

Re: Baja 2000

I heard about the insurance issue on the TV news about 3 years ago. I asked about it at the Mexinsur at 805 and Bonita road where I had bought insurance for years and they confirmed it, as did San Diego County Credit Union. Apparently its some Mexican Insurance law. All those years I've been going down and the insurance salesmen never told me until I asked, just took the money.

BTY, do you know if the course is going past the Gold Mine between check one and Guadalupe wash. It looks like it will from the map.

Same here about the insurance thing. I'll have to check on the Gold Mine and Guadalupe. It would make sense since it's always a part of the course!
