Custom Air intake!

I am starting on a project to make a custom air intake for my 4 banger Nissan. Does anyone have any tips on what filter to use or anything really? All post are greatly appreciated.

Re: Custom Air intake!

Depends on what type of intake system you have. Running a K&N filter is probably the best way to go.

Re: Custom Air intake!

On EFI systems it is usually pretty easy to make a PVC snorkel that routes (with as few bends as possible) to the top of the cab or right behind the cab. Top off the end of this with a K&N conical-style filter. You'll suck in cooler, denser air with less dust in it.
