Checkered for Glenn Whitford,BFG Relay #3

The Off Road comunity has lost a long time one of people that have spent over 20 years assisting drivers and crews entered in races in Baja, as well as California, Arizona, and Nevada.

Glenn passed away on Xmas evening at the V.A. Hospital in San Diego.

Glenn most remembered for his flowered "cutoff's", waiving a flag on the beach run at Erendia, and his voice on the radio when someone needed help.

Glenn was a member of the BFG Radio Relay Team for 20 years, aand will be remembered and missed by all who knew him.

All responses to this posting will be given to Glenn's mother and his two children.

A memorial service will be held at the VFW Hall, 299 I st, Chula Vista, CA at noon Friday January 4th.
